     Brantley Cooper gets the shock of his life when I show up on his doorstep to fix up his kids’ new rooms. His son is confused why ‘the pretty lady has a drill,’ and his daughter has a new obsession—me.

     On paper, my job is easy. Go in, do their bedrooms, and leave.

     In theory, I’m spending eight hours a day with a guarded, sexy as hell guy, and I’m staying for dinner more often than I’m eating it alone, on my couch, with Friends re-runs.

     I shouldn’t be staying for dinner. I shouldn’t be helping him out with the twins. I shouldn’t be falling in love with tiny toes and dimpled cheeks.

     Oops…

     This was a fun and light read from the very beginning. I could not put it down.

     Kali Hancock is a home builder (handywoman) running the family business since her dad is semi-retired. She is damned good at her job but many people don't see past the fact she is a woman. But her satisfaction comes when she proves them she can do the same job as a man if not better.

     When Brantley Cooper contacted Hancock Construction(?) to fix his twins' rooms he was not prepared for Kali. From that first meeting on every encounter between these two was fun and flirty and full of laughter.

     I fell in love with the twin's antics and they stole my heart with their banter and their occurrences. It was heartening watching how Kali fell piece by piece in love with this two and their hot dad. I think Ms. Hart made the right choice in making Kali fall in love first with Eli and Ellie because of her thinking on children.

     I cried a couple of times especially when Portia was telling Kali how she came to love her and accept her for the daughter she never had.

     Emma Hart is a new to me author and I will definitively be trying her again.
